The Trouble With The AO Forum....

…is that it is too darned addictive, I hope that AO provide free anti addictive patches or the DiY, gardening etc will never get done !

Been a member for just about a month and thought that I would like to post a few comments.

Technically the site is excellent, very easy to use and works well. Perhaps the one thing I don’t like is the default skin, find it very difficult to read.

The Tech Advice Section. Received a few tips and hopefully have posted a few useful ones, there is a lot of knowledge out there and the willingness to share cannot be too highly commended.

On the General Discussions bit there are hugely diverse opinions, if you post a somewhat contentious one standby to receive the flak, but don’t take it personally….. I hope ! Amazing the things that you didn’t know that can be found here, in some cases perhaps you’d have been better off not knowing !

The Moderators do a great job of saving us mere mortals from ourselves, the recent thread about the Mobile Mechanic is a good case in point. I must be gullible but confess that for a very short while this was looking interesting, saved by some good guys out there.

Seriously, my congratulations to all concerned with the site, both the administrators and the members. Well done AO, very glad I found you.

Nige.

Thanks Bigfoot. Am thinking of joining the club, let's see how the MoT goes next month. If I get hit for suspension repairs I may have to be on the lookout for that green Alfa getaway car, I'm into recycling !

Funny you should say that WS. Just bought a push bike with the intention of improving my abysmally low fitness level to just abysmal. However, walking out the front door I look at the bike and the GTV... guess which wins ! Looked on eBay for some will power but they seem to be all out of it !
