How much should I pay for a 2000 Spider 3.0 V6?

Hey guys,
There's a 13,863[km], Spider 3.0 V6 selling for U$21,000.

How much do you think I should pay for this baby.
It's black with Red momo seats.
It's in pristine condition... but I think it's too pricey.
Since there are no Alfa dealers in Nicaragua, this Alfa has not sold.
The owner has been trying to sell it since 2003 (selling at first for believe it or not U$57,000)....

So, what do you guys think?
It's 8 years old now...

Cheers,

Very low mileage but being 8 years old I reckon it would go for anything between £6000-£7500over in the UK. Difficult to narrow it down anymore because people would be willing to pay a higher price for such low mileage example. I know I would. Great colour combination too!!!

Graham,

Thanks for your reply, and you are right, prices can be low in the UK, but for such a low mileage Alfa, it's worthwile the effort to get.
Hey, I posted pics, should you want to see them, in the GTV Spider forum,
Cheers,

Cracking looking car. I used to have a black GTV and it looked the business. Good luck with your purchase if you do go for it

Re: How much should I pay for a 2000 Spider 3.0 V6?

I appreciate your input.
It's a big decision thoug... as I would be my only mechanic...
That's not too worrisome as I'm currently (along with my 18-year old brother) the only one looking for an Alfa.

I talked to my good friend Mario, and he said: well, I guess you are getting ready to use a very UNRELIABLE car,

Is this true? are V6s 3.0 so noisy?

Not noisy. It has one of the best sounding engines of all time

If you can do your own mechanics then you have nothing to worry about ;o)

We all know about Alfas reputation of being unreliable but to be honest I have now had four and they have been no more unreliable than any other make of car I have owned. The only issue I had with my GTV was the Aux belt going on it. Look after your car and it will look after you
