147 Wanted

Wanted a 147 GTA or a 147 JTD (16 valve - 5 door) model ideally with f.a.s.h but willing to consider others (even damaged repaired vehicles if priced accordingly)
Have looked on Pistonheads and Ebay and Autotrader but have not yet found a car suitable.
I am a private cash buyer with no p/exchange and a previous alfa owner.
I am located in the South-East (Kent) but I am willing to travel to look at suitable vehicles.
First choice of colours would be :- Red / White / Black but will consider other colour options.

it is listed on here, under my name of templar461 as of yesterday.
A 2003/ 53 147 2.0 T Spark Selespeed for sale in Grigio Platino, dark Grey leather interior. Winter pack option. 39,939 miles.

The spec of this car includes heated seats, dual climate control, cruise control, BOSE sound system/CD player. It has many standard features trip computer, ASR (form of traction control), centre arm rest, adjustable ride height drivers seat and steering wheel, airbags front and side. The car is listed as Grey but it looks almost silver/green. Very nice and not a common colour.

The car is currently owned by my wife and has been since October 2007 and before that it was bought new from Virgin cars. The reason for sale is purely down to the fact we are taking a new Alfa GT on in September and already have a 3.0 GTV.

The car has a couple of minor marks near to the front grille, stone chips basically but they are not noticeable until up close. The alloys are sport alloys and are in very good condition no scratches or scuffs, tyres have lots of miles left in them. As stated MOT is until June 2009, it passed first time with no warnings. Tax until October 2008. It will be valeted before selling.

The car has full ALFA service history up until 38k where it had a cambelt/variator change by an independent ALFA specialist, Veloces of London. It has a recent oil change, new wiper motor and wiper blades and a full MOT pre inspection, which included suspension checks and engine management check. This revealed no issues.



Service History as follows, and all the paper work is included with all the correct books, stamped, that came with the car.

Delivered by Virgin Cars on 15th September 2003 and came with warranty.



11,302 miles - 26/08/2004 - Service by Desira Southgate included oil change, air filter, pollen filter replacement and full check of the vehicle.



16,308 miles - 12/03/2005 - Service by Desira Southgate included PAS fluid change due to a leak. Replace sealing gasket.



22,193 miles - 25/11/2005 - 2 year service by Desira Southgate included OSR track control arm and bushes. Oil and filter change, wiper blades and an arm and a bulb.



28,897 miles - 31/07/2006 - Service which included REPLACEMENT of ACTUATOR (This controls the Selespeed Gearbox), renew brake pads, front tyres. Oil top up and oil filter change.



38,109 miles - 01/04/2008 - Replacement of Cambelt and all tensioners. Oil change and a total vehicle inspection before MOT. No faults found and no warnings.



There are no issues with the car it drives extremely well in all the gear modes and you can even get a kick down in the "city" mode (full auto) Its good on fuel and very safe car to drive.

The actuator and cambelt replacement mean that whoever buys this car will have no hassle and expensive costs for at least another 36k when the cambelt will need changing again.



Any inspection is welcome, nothing to hide and we are ALFA enthusiasts so know how to look after them. More photos can be sent to you if you wish.
