Hello, GTV V6 3.0 Wanted

Hello all.

Well as you can probably guess by my user name I am on the search for a GTV V6. So if anyone is wanting a change of car and has a v6 to sell please contact.

I was the owner of a 156v6(cambelt failure!!), then a 147 until someone ran a red and wrote off my baby

I have just received the pay out and need a car within the next week or so as the hire car has to go back.

So please help me in my quest to find the elusive gtv soon!!!

Just a quick note to say I have sorted a GTV 3.0 V6, and hopefully off to pick her up Friday
Only prob is it is off ebay and I havn't had chance to view, but its a risk I am prepared to take.

It is Dark blue with blue leather and done 90k on a T plate. FSH.

Talked to the owner and he seems to have been honest with a few faults like, ariel not working - Common I know and says the brakes squeel a bit when they are hot?? Is this a common fault as I am unsure. I will be getting the car serviced ASAP just to be sure about it.

Any hints / tips / advise welcomed........ thanks in advance

The brakes always squeeled on my GTV. Even after changing the pads, lubing them etc etc. Nothing cured it unfortunately. I got used to it though...the day before selling it lol!

Hello. The brakes squeeling on a gtv is a common thing unfortunately.
I have a GTV CUP and my brakes have always squeeled when warm.
Hope you get sorted.

as do mine, but they dont when warmed up? which is opposite?
