1.5 Litre, Y reg 1983, Y reg, Cloverleaf. I bought this car in 2000. It was in very nice condition. I ran it for about 3 months before the clutch release bearing needed repair. Although this job was completed, one or two other minor jobs stopped the car from going back on the road. Unfortunately, the car has deteriorated bodily in the meantime. The front wings are gone, it’s rusty around its sunroof. The bottom of the doors are bad. However, I believe that the car is basically structurally sound and could be saved. It’s partially stripped but complete. It starts up and drives (or at least it did a year ago.) Off-hand, I can’t remember the exact mileage but I believe that it was low, around 55,000, I think.

1.5. Similar to above, but silver. This car was bought as a spares car, but I considered it too good to break. All trim stripped out but I believe that it’s all there. Mechanically, it’s all together, and was capable of moving under its own power about 2 years ago.

Scrap value of both cars is currently about £150 each. But I’d rather sell them at this price to an enthusiast.
