So as a Cayenne Turbo owner, the Stelvio Q looks like a perfect car for me.

It would look amazing next to the Giulia on the drive! Perfect family car.

Anyone else very keen to get their hands on one?

It's slipped into number one over an F-Pace on my list.

Plenty of time to scope it out in the coming year. (Ewok lease now running until Feb 2018)

Hey Nev,

Do you still have the annoying small company car shortlist?

I've got a Giulia Q arriving in March but the Stelvio would be a great family wagon.

Stelvio -

Yes I'd like one, though I dont really like buying new cars... soon as you buy it then its usually worth 20% less. There are exceptions to this of course.

It looks fabulous anyway, I wonder what towing capacity it will have?

They left it too late! I was going to try and get the missus to buy one to replace her CX7 but she jumped the gun last month and bought an XC60. Maybe next time!

Although Alfa Romeo is not on the company
ban list I think they could add it.

Also the smaller petrol Steve wouldn't
be allowed with over 200BHP.

Time to leave company car scheme and take
the cold, hard cash instead, I guess.

Alfa 159 1.9jtdm

I have been waiting for a family car from Alfa to replace my 159 SW for 6 years, (unfortunately the giulia isnt practical enough for me and the kids) but this might be and i cant wait to see it in the showrooms. However i think the maybe revealing the Giulia SW at Geneva next year so both could be released in the UK around the same time and i will be faced with a difficult choice, either way its Alfa all the way for me!

If Alfa can get this released in time, it will be the next thing on our drive.
Current lease expires next summer, so I'm hoping that Stevio will be available by then. I too would also love Giulia, but the other half prefers the ride height of an SUV (for some reason she hated driving the 2 159s I had?!?!), so Stevio it is....just hoping Alfa get it to the UK in time!

Time to start saving for a deposit.

It's going to have to be a petrol so will have to
drop out of the company car scheme.
It was good while it lasted and meant
I got 4 years in the Ewok.

But petrol Steve is calling.

Roll on Geneva.

A bit big. The Kuga got scuffed on the rear corner while parked a while back. Britain's obsession with big cars sees car park scrapes up by a third*
Might be swapping it for a Fiat Spider.

Yes I'm very interested in one. Wife's Yeti lease expires in 12 months, so will be looking then. Bog standard version but with 4x4. Wonder if it will be available in the UK December 2017???

A difficult choice between the Giulia SW en the Stelvio, but one of them will replace my Giulietta QV in ... ? Maybe 2018.

Unless the GiuliaSW is AWD, Stelvio has to be the one to possibly take over from the 159SWQ4-3.2...but I am in no rush......

loving the Giulia but will probably wait until Geneva to see the Stelvio before making a decision. Ideally I'd get a Giulia for a while and then the Stelvio for Xmas '17

err... scrap that. Ideally, I'd have them both... in QV guise

I never thought I would say this after years of "disliking-the-idea-of-an-Alfa-Romeo-SUV", but I actually like the look of the Stelvio and think it is a far better deal both personally and commercially than the Giulia. There it's said.

Giulia is not the salvation of the brand but Stelvio probably is.

Really interested, has there been any prices mentioned yet? We've got our Evoque for another 3.5 years on lease but would love to move onto the Stelvio after that.

People on here are talking about a Giulia SW, but there won't be one. The Stelvio is the SW version of the Giulia, so to say.

Alfa have been smart (for once) in bringing Giulia to the market before the Stelvio.

If they'd brought Stelvio first, there would have been much reduced interest in Giulia, and when it does turn up I predict that Giulia sales will drop drastically. If I had that sort of money I would certainly be interested in Stelvio - could be the best and most practical Alfa in decades.

I could very well see myself getting one of these. If only we had any dealers within a couple of hours drive...

Was in the Alfa dealers in Reading today (Ordering new 18" wheel for the Guilietta, nice crack in rim!).

Had a chat with the salesman there, he was saying definitely Autumn for the Stelvio QV and a "Veloce" model with a 280bhp engine and AWD. The diesels may be later, he said Alfa were being a bit vague on diesels. Didn't get a chance to talk prices though as I had to cough up 551 for my wheel. The red QV Guilia they have looked fab.

Wondering if I should wait for the Stelvio and replace the Guilietta in due course with one. Might ride the potholes better.

Guilia is also coming with the same "Veloce" spec and engine.

It is on our list. The Car & Driver review of the sedan indicated that they need to correct and improve several things. It is reasonable to think they will have done so by the time the Stelvio comes out.

We've never been to any of the Goodwoods events, so are thinking of going this Fall. That may be too soon for European delivery of a Stelvio, but it would be fun to have it then.

Perspective owner here!

Two dogs and a child on the way an SUV type vehicle or an estate is the way forward.

If Alfa can keep the price keen I will be looking at replacing the Lexus IS with the Stelvio, I will have the 2 litre petrol engine please.
