Unfortunately they were a little more expensive than my current insurance, but I think it will be a worth while task to check with them every year (renewal) as they might be cheaper due to:
A, Your age,
B, NCD
C, change in their quotes (more competitive)
D, change in your status (such as location etc)
(This is going by experience as I was quoted by DL at a higher cost than Tesco's, 2 years later, DL was cheaper than Tesco's)
I find that some companies target young drivers so they lower the costs, they see them as an investment and hope you will stay with them for many years, others target older drivers due to the obvious experience and more mature nature of driving (therefore a lower risk)
You also have to consider the level of service they provide against other insurance companies.
Would be interesting where abouts Adrian Flux sits on the 'age' band as I would suspect (like many Alfaowners) to be around the 30+ mark
Just a thought anyway
