I'm in the process of buying an LE and am having a couple of problems with the insurance. Having been on Moneysupermarket.com I'm getting a quote for £473 with performance direct (not bad as I'm 25

). When I go through P.D.'s site directly though, it's coming out at £1100. I'm therefore a bit apprehensive about trusting the £473 quote as I have a feeling they've made a mistake somewhere (even though I'd put the details in twice to check!). Have any of you had any experience using these (or any other of the comparison sites)? Spent a few hours today looking through a load of sites and frustratingly, most assume you'll be the owner of the car. Can anybody recommend anybody (other than the ones already mentioned)? I'm currently floating around the £1000 mark but I'll be trying A-plan and a few others tomorrow.
Also, I know the finance company will be legal owners of the car but what about the registered keeper? Is that the finance company also or will it be in my name?
Sorry for the noob questions - I'm a bit new to contract hire. Hooray for my first post though - hopefully first of many!
EDIT - Just re-read the posts above. Looks like I would have to enter the finance company as registered keepers. That's that question answered then!
