Official Registration of our Club
Congrats to all of us 
With the help of CIC Automasters and the authorization from Italy, we are now an Officially Registered Club, with permission for our activities, the name "Alfa Romeo Cyprus Club", the Alfa Romeo badge/emblem and our logo
Special thanks to the dealership in Cyprus - CIC Automasters - and all involved members from the dealership for all their help.
Thanks goes to Mr. Panayiotis Pitsillides - General Manager of CIC Automasters, Mr. Marcos Kyriakides and Panayiotis Kattos for helping exposing and expanding our club and members, and Mr. Praxandros Pashalis - salesman in Limassol - who helped us make the first contact with CIC and Mr. Pitsillides.
The board of our club will be getting together this Saturday afternoon in Limassol to discuss the meets and events for 2012 and set the dates.
All members who paid for registration and subscription should know that their subscription has started counting since the 2nd of February 2012 and will be valid till the 1st of February 2013, regardless of when they paid for their subscriptions.

As regards the annual subscription may I suggest to use the calendar year instead of the from date to date one. If for example someone is enrolled during the first half of the year will pay full fee where in second half will pay half of fee. This way all members' subscriptions will be due for payment same time and thus easier to control and even send a renewal reminder by December.
Just a thought!

There is nothing wrong with the car! To skouloukoui ftei! I am thinking to get for some time the Abarth 500 but then again also the Mito is an option. But first prepi na vro ena kalo spiti gia to 159 an k ine diskoli periodos tora...

I would sit back at this time. Not a very good time to sell a car, as cost of living went up and people dont want to spend a lot of money on cars.
A car that would be worth 15000 to 16000 Euro last year, will only be sold for 13000 if you are lucky this year.
The 500 Abarth is a lovely car ! Very fun and enjoyable to drive !
George - a member of our club - bought one recently and he loves it to bits
The MiTo is faster and bigger than the 500, and still a very nice choice as well if you are going for a more compact car.
I suppose it all depends if you find a buyer for the 159 first

I am asking on the net for 19K Euros / but can discuss also something better.
Know that you can find 2/3 hand from the UK for less money, especialy in Nicosia but i feel they are not the same cars if you consider mileage and road conditions especialy during winter time in the UK. I will post some more photos on the add i took last Sunday with my iphone.
Thanks Supercharged - indeed both are good choices but it all depends if i find a buyer for mine which will be willing to pay what the car is worth. As you say diffucult times now and i am not in a rush to sell, if something comes its welcomed if not, i am very happy with my 159! All 185horses are well fed and watered )
