CIC - towards the right direction
I know I've made some "negative" comments concerning the CIC in another thread recently and I will continue to critisize them if they give me the chance to do so.
But to be fair, I will also comment any positive action that I notice from their side.
And so...
Last week I took my Brera to CIC for some minor interior repairs.
Today a nice lady called me from CIC and asked me if I was happy from their service and if I had any comments from my recent visit.
Despite the fact that I complained to her about something that I didn't like, I was very pleased with that phone call.
This phone call, made me consider that the people in CIC actually care about the service that they provide and the customer satisfaction.
I hope that they will continue to collect all the feedback from their customers and use it in order to become better and better.
Actions like these are very promising and I hope that the phone calls don't stay just "phone calls"
To be honest I've never seen that from any other car dealer in Cyprus.
(I'll ask my dad if they do the same when he takes his mercedes for service)

CTC (Volvo & Hyundai) as far as I know don't call after a service. I also got a call after buying my Giulietta and I was asked if I had any issues with overall transaction.
In my opinion CIC knows how to do business! Just consider that it's the only Cyprus car importer that actually has a competitor! Frantzis in most cases tries to compete with lower prices, whereas CIC learned how to offer customer satisfaction as well...
Another innovation they are doing, is the Delivery Test Drive. You give them a call wanting to test drive any Fiat or Alfa and they come and find you!

Glad to hear this. They really work to get away from the image people have because of the previous dealer, and this step is a very serious step foward.
As said before they can only correct things that they hear that are not ok. If people stay silent they will never know.
So if they are willing to hear and make corrections, it is our turn as customers to help them by reporting processes within CIC that we are not happy with.

Thats truly a nice move ! Glad to hear that as well
And guys, I know we mentioned this again, but if anyone has issues with the aftersales of the dealership, instead of yelling and shouting, its better to contact either me or Pavlos - if you dont want to contact CIC directly - and we can contact them instead !
This is just so we can be fair with them. YES CIC is liable for the actions of their mechanics and salesmen, but its only fair to let the people in charge know what the problem is before we demand for a solution

Fiat group bought since many months now Chrysler in US, which is the owner of Jeep as well. Also have seen in one of the magazines that in an effort to reduce the average co emitted by Chrysler cars in EU, they will re-introducing RHD Lancia cars in UK under the Chrysler brand. So, we may see these in Cyprus by CIC.....

Nicola, the link yu gave us above says that the truth is even worse than their initial plans.
According to their first plans am ref in my prev post, by renaming the Lancias to Chryslers, at least yu knew that under the Chrysler name a Lancia is hidden (maybe not the same with those Chris has quoted , but at least an italian car).
If what am quoting below(which is from Nicolas linked site) is true, they will be trying to sell american tin under the brand name of Lancia. This is a sure way to distroy the Lancia name once and for all. I would expect from Italians to have more respect for their tradition. What a waste
QUOTE
Chrysler will also provide more than sales outlets. The 300 sedan will be sold as the Lancia Thema starting in the fourth quarter, and other Chrysler models will be re-badged to give Lancia a broader lineup, including a version of the Grand Voyager minivan. The 200 may be renamed as the Flavia

Lancia have already announced a number of new models, some of which are actually re-branded Chryslers. Video: Lancia Thema ad embraces Chrysler partnership, history — Autoblog
Most suck (except maybe from the Thema, as the 300 that is based upon is a decent car) but at least Lancia got a life extension.
The bad news is that even though the Italians should influence the American brands (Jeep and Chrysler) but it seems that it's the other way around. Marchionne sent the upcoming Alfa Romeo Giulia back to the drawing board as he considered its design not USA appropriate, delaying its unveil more than 6 months...
