Alfasud Servicing in Nicosia

Hi guys,
I have just returned from Zanettos & Germanos who informed me that they have decided to close down their garage. As they could not recommend an other mechanic in Nicosia, I would be pleased if you could. At the moment I need to replace two front suspension bushes. Visited today Demades parts section but they could not help as a senior official from CIC was there.

The fact that Zannetos and Germanos garage is closing down is history. They have been " closing down " for the past 2 years

I also went by today to say hello and see how my favorite old friends are doing

Demades has not only stoped helping Alfa owners, but has also sold all of their old stock to their former owner of the company.
Lots of things are starting to change there !!!

I can recommend a guy who I used to work for as a part timer. He used to work for the dealership and then he opened his own garage.
His name is Giannos and his garage is in Alambra.
Not too good with electronic faults and things like that, but he is very good on Alfa engines alltogether

Thanks 16V, I may need Yiannos phone no. in the future if the little boxer engine needs reconditioning (now has 76.600 miles on the clock even though is 32 years old). I should try to find a mechanic for the minor repairs, not that far away. For the records I was driving my own Alfas from 1983 to 2005 so Alfasud was serviced at Demades garage. (33QV, 33S QV 16V, 156 2.0lt, 147 1.6). Many thanks again for your help.

From the highway, go left for Larnaca, and take the first exit on your left ( obviously ) for Ag. Varvara.

The road takes you on a left bend, over the other side of the highway and leads to an ALT.

Right in front of you to your right

By the way, I just spoke to him yesterday, and he can take care of all the Alfaowners that go there

my mechanic is Fitos.his garage is just behind Demades in the industrial area...he has 14 cars all fiats and alfa romeos...he has a 156 a 33 and many others...he is a maniac...always does the job properly.he works with his son(very good mechanic) but on all the alfa romeos he works by himself...

Fitos is a great guy as well !!! I forgot about him

.... not sure if I would let his son service my Alfa though....
His son is against Alfa's ... and has weird hair ..

supercharged16v his son is not allowed to do any work on alfas:P...all the work is done by fitos:P!
yes you take the sopaz road and turn left and then right.....he is on your left....has a big valvoline sign....and my 156 is there also......he has opened my gearbox(fixed but not on yet)i will take him some drop links to replace as well tomorrow...

I have taken my 156 to a guy called Antonis near the Unicars warehouse in Latsia. I'm pleased with him overall tbh.

However any more ALFA specialist would be welcome

Antonis is quite good with the electronic stuff on modern Alfa's but never had him do anything for any of my cars.

We lack of good mechanics in general in Cyprus, as well as people who know what they are doing in general on these cars
It seems everyone wants to experiment
