Hello Friends!!!
I was just driving around in... Cyprus and I've found this:
Alfa1.jpg
Alfa2.jpg
Thought that maybe there is someone who might be interested to save it
I found it in Dasaki Achnas
According to the Road Tax label it's a 2.0L
Anyone knows which model this is? I can't remember seeing tis model before in Cyprus

Here are some more pictures:

Alfa3.jpg
Alfa4.jpg
It doesn't look that is in a terribly bad condition.
Someone could restore it and register it as a classic/historic car

Hi Nikolas,
This car is a Alfetta Gold Cloverleaf (series 2) with an injected twin cam 2.0lt engine (not a twin spark one). I remember this car to be driven around Nicosia when new.
p.s. Original colour and alloy wheels.

So what do you think about it?
I mean would it be something worth saving?
Is it a rare model, or was it common in its time?

The specific car must have changed several owners. I am not definitely sure but must have been in the hands, at some time, by either Demades mechanic, Theodoros or the tester Costas. Demades has sold in mid-80s 2 or 3 cars of this model to the government, specifically for the Cyprus President bodyguards. This was a very luxurious model, but will probably need a lot of work to mbe carried-out.
Well I am not sure if it's worth to buy one. Practical Classics magazine do not mention it in their Guide Info section. Only the GT & GTV.

If you are looking for an Alfa worth buying and restoring for yourself Nicolas, find something more ... sporty or classic.
I never really considered the Alfetta to be a looker
Parts will be a nightmare to find as well !
Personally I would look out for a Junior or a GT coupe veloce !!!! In ANY condition

Mechanical parts fr this car are more or less the same as with A75 and Gulietta.
I think that Germanos has a couple of these cars in his barn fr spares so there shld not be a serious prblm fr the body and interior parts.
It is a rear wheel drive car...

yes it is rwd but its also as heavy as an elephant !!!
This car would suit someone that doesnt want it to fool around. Might be worth giving him a call though just to find out what he wants for it

Hello Chris
No... I never think of bying and restoring this car
Even if I wanted to, my parking places are... "overfilled"
I was just wondering which model this is, because I've never seen it before
When the time comes, I have in mind 2-3 old Alfa models that I would like to have

For information and reference I have uploaded the last auction list. It is usually published a few days before the auction day. I will try to upload the next one if a copy gets in my hands on time. Never been there so no comments whatsoever.
A Alfa Spider Series 3 or 4 was auctioned 6 months ago!!
"NEW REG.-ALFA ROMEO SPIDER CONVERΤ.-1970cc(1996)-DEC 09-Open Price Euro3,900.00"

I bought 3 cars frm the Laiki Auction. They are fairly cheap. The 3 33 I got them fr CYP170, 130 and 80.
The Auction takes place on the first Tuesday of each month, and the list and the car is available on the Thursday before the auction. They can be seen on Thursday Friday and Monday after 15.00.
The list and at least 1 picture of each car is also available on the AuctionYard's webpage on Thursday before the auction.
If yu bid for a car and yu get it, yu need to pay (if I remmebr correct) 10% on the same day.
