No, this is the first time I've heard of such a thing. I dont know if this is true or not.

If its true this could be good for Alfa Romeo, as CIC does a lot of advertisement and promotions !

I think its very good ! Sales will go up, old parts will be sold as special offer items ( so I can buy most of them ) , and at last people will stop having this idea that Alfa Romeo is a second category brand !

More members for our club as well !

Yes but have in mind that this is the situation with almost every dealer in Cyprus
The worst dealer by far that I know in Cyprus is the Opel - dealer
They charge too much and most of their mechanics probably don't have any idea about car engines

Is it possible, in one year I pay double for normal service on my 2 year old Opel Corsa (company car) than what I pay for my Brera?

Alfa dealer has ONLY ONE certified machanic in their garage in Nicosia
& another ONE in Larnaca's garage....
Does this shows a company with a good reputation?

Believe me, it's very difficult to change a humans opinion about alfa. I agree that on the marketing section C.I.C it's much better than Demedes but don't expect a lot of things from them...

By the way, it was nice to meet you yesterday SENNA .

I want the seats of your GT !

We had a conversation with SENNA yesterday about this matter. I dont know where this conversation started from but we cant know if they are reliable or not.
If you remember, last year there was talking about Pilakoutas ( BMW ) taking the dealership of Alfa Romeo , but that didnt happen either.
A few years ago, there was this new guy showing up in the dealership, which invested a lot of money into fixing their showrooms and totally rebuilded the showroom in Limassol and Larnaca.

I have a cousin working for them in Limassol, he should know. I'll ask him later and let you know whats really happening

CIC hasnt bought Demades yet.
What will happen is that CIC ( Mercedes ) will buy the Fiat dealership from Demades ( buy the air of the company ), which alco covers the Alfa Romeo dealership.
The showrooms will probably be rented to CIC until further notice.
Again, this has not happened yet, but it will happen in the near future

ok this is true.....that mercedes main dealer c.i.c bought demades alfa romeo-fiat dealer.in fact now fiat owns crysler-mercedes....which is the opposite...i have a mercdes and an alfa...i have an individual mechanic for my alfa....and i always service the merc at the dealership.mercedes garage mechanics beleave it or not they are below average.this has nothing to do with alfas though as the garage will not change only the ownership...c.i.c. having i mind of the new cars that alfa will release and in my opinion alfa will return to glorious days again in 2-3 years time.....and the recent increse in sales from fiat(500,bravo,vans) they bought demades who lost interest in the dealership years ago.
alfa sales wll increase, garage will be better but still expensive. what we dont know is where c.i.c will put more effort...as mercedes cars are in derect competition with mercs whith similar prices.so its up to them now.

Totally agree..

They bought demades to have variety, they dont have mini [only the smart] so they get the 500 and the MiTo also. Small passenger cars, only the ugly A class and the fugly B class. now they have 147 / milano, bravo etc etc. Plus they get the most beautiful car, the 159 and the ultimate convertible, the Spider. They also get the unmatched GT. They get the commercial fiats which i suppose its the only thing demades was doing well..

I think its like the checkmate pilakoutas has done with the nissan dealership and the Uglyguai.
CIC will sell loads of alfas, guaranteed.

OMG, I HAVE THE ALFA BUG
