If you remove the rear bumper theres a hole thru the bodywork that you can use to pass the cable.
That´s the one I used when I installed mine. This is the camera that I used, it replaces one of the license place lights, it´s perfect fit and it´s barely visible.
The visibility is ok, not 4K 3D 240hz IMAX quality, but good enough at night, I will take a picture tonight so you can check it out. (it´s 11 am right now)
Does anyone know by chance if the MiTo has the same number plate lights as the Grande Punto? The camera's for the Grande Punto are 3 times cheaper than the one for the MiTo:
I already have a camera but that needs drilling in the rear bumper and I don't like that for one bit. so I quite like these one that is a straight swap with the light holder. There's PDC in my MiTo and the camera is not really necessary. It's just that my new double din radio has reverse cam input. On the other hand, my GT had PDC and that didn't stop my girlfriend from crushing the trunk against a parking meter
I measured the number plate lights in my MiTo and they're more or less 11x3 cm. Some of the reverse camera's are 13 cm long but I found some on Ali Express that are 10.3x3.2 cm. I'll try one of those for €11,57
Did you have to remove the bumper (and rear wheels)? I've had one of those cameras laying around for the past half year but I haven't gotten round to attaching it....
