Mito- thoughts and advice

Hi all, was looking for some advice- thinking about buying a mito veloce 95bhp engine, Alfa red, 2009 model, low mileage, it's for my son who is away at the moment and was going to buy it for his return from sea!

Is there anything I should be checking? After a quick look, Body work in good condition apart from slight road rash to rear wheel arch, rear alfa boot badge discolored, car is in very good condition overall. But having only limited knowledge, any advice would be helpful

Steer clear if it has the dreaded road rash as it's highly unlikely you would get it done under
warranty given the age of the car ...(been there)
Cracking little car though so don't be discouraged

Cheers, although was going to have a detailer do their stuff on it as they will be able to sort it for very little £

Then get some clear arch protectors on them ASAP!

Yeah just seen this in other posts, thx anyway!

just traded mine in its at guests willenhall, has protectors on, resprayed, not a scratch on it, 13k miles, 95bhp, tinted windows, its the veloce spec, maybe a bit far for u, think they want 10k for it

I had the pleasure of a laoner 95 tourismo for just over a week whilst mine was off road due to a paperwork mixup resulted in me having no road tax on my 155, and I have to say considering the difference in power i was very impressed with the 95, it pulled nicely around town only running out of steam a bit on steeper hills and overtaking on motorways, ride was smooth and the gearbox was not very notchy at all.

If i didnt have or had previously drove a more powerful Mito I could easily have lived with one. Mine is white and doesn't seem to have been plagued with the paint issues associated with the red or black mito's

Just put a deposit down, 2009 plate 95bhp with only 19k miles for £8000 taxed and mot'd prob £8-900 under what I expected, I'm sure my son will be "chuffed" on his return! Thx for your replies, hopefully some trouble free miles for him!!
