Hmmm Mito TCT problem or not?

Hi guys,

I bought my Mito TCT 1.4 135hp about 2 and a half months ago and now it has a mileage of 3500 kms.

My question is, when I even tested the test drive car, at very low speeds, lets say at first and second gear if I put my foot off the throttle, the car gives a jumpy feedback. I thought I could get used to it, since I used to be a manual gearbox user (which I always hit the clutch when i put off my foot off throttle at very low speeds) but I still couldn't. And It started to make me feel as if there is a problem with my car.

I asked that to my dealer and they told everything is completely normal but I am not sure and I wanted to know if other mito users have the same feedback.

I'd be very happy if you share your experiences with mito especially at low speeds at first and second gear.

Thank you.

Mito 135 TCT Distinctive

Ive found my TCT to be very smooth in these circumstances. 8500 miles / 9 months old.
What I did have recently was an occasional hesitation in acceleration at those speeds. My dealer found no problems
There is a system which allows the throttle to 'learn' and adapt to the way you drive and operate the pedal.
They reset mine to it's factory setting. It would make sense because when I got the car I was driving very very carefully and quite slowly, now I am probably quicker.
I don't know much about that system but try to discuss it with your dealer, perhaps it has adapted to your early style of driving, like mine.
I think with older automatics it was essential to release the throttle to make the gearbox change up, now I find (certainly in 'D') holding the throttle constant, the TCT will work things out for itself.
