Painted my grill!

Yea so i painted the grill. Inspired by an absolute beast of a masking job i saw on youtube i set to work! Needless to say i was absolutely bricking myself but it turned out pretty well! This was my first 'proper' bit of spraying but i think ive made a decent job considering.

And yes...i did spray the grill without taking the bumper off lol

Have a look...

Yes indeed 3 coats of plasti-kote and job done. Was so relieved i hadnt made a mess of it! Im trying to go for an all black kinda stealth look so thats why i decided to paint the grill!

Have rotated the pics now so they are easier to look at

here's mine...

(car was still wet when i took the photo)
whole of the bumper including the criss-cross plastic grill part was done in situ
you can see the wing mirrors have been done too
no problem if you balls it up or change your mind ....it peels off
also done my alloys and rear bumper ....its been on for about 4 months now
...ok off to clean it lol

they were silver. Also did the surrounding black plastic bits that were fading a bit due to age/sunlight etc.

Wow that looks a really nice finish. Like the idea of just being able to peel it off too. Would have used that if I had known. C'est la vie!
