Alfa Mito 1.6JTDM Veloce

First time AO and Poster .. be gentle

Hi All,

Been lurnking on here for a couple of week and I have now take then plunge of posting.

Going to pick up my 1st (hopefully of many) Alfa tomorrow am.

My new little girl will be a Mito 1.6JTDM Veloce in Giuletta Red on an 09 plate... replacing my work horse commuter of a Smart ForTwo

Fell in love with it after test driving (already tested the Polo and DS3 which had there merits but not the soul of the Alfa)

Looking forward to tomorrow as soon as Ive picked up the motor I'm going straight over to Auto Italia show at Brooklands, Weybridge to oggle at some more Italian moto...

Not got anything planned for the new car yet but may contemplate an ECU remap in the future as the benefits seem to make it a no brainer...

Anyway that's all for now and I may see some of you (or your motors) at Auto Italia

Welcome chewie!
I was due to go to brooklands with some friends but i'm now working!
I'm very jealous!
Good luck with the car!
Ps. If you have a significant other half(?) be warned - she/he will get p**sed off with you Constantly looking out of the window to admire your beautiful alfa!
It happens - and they need to get over it!

Welcome to the forum Chewie2000.
OH has a '09 Alfa Red MJ 1.6 Lusso with the Veloce wheels and black leather.
She wouldn't change it for the world.
Averages 50mpg.
Plenty of torque and acceralation in Dynamic mode.
Probably wouldn't remap it since the gearbox is at the torque limit.
Enjoy.
