I'd hazard a guess and say some muppet took a MiTo and had it painted it in the worst colour blue imaginable

Nope...

It was made with the car when it first came out. The colour lasted about a year before it was discontinued. There are probably only a handfull of Mitos with this colour that people bought. Was also offered as a very similar colour on the Fiat GP for the first year of its life also.

It does actually look pretty reasonable in real life. But there are better colours.

Don't take it to heart - 996 is our resident grumpy monkey

Although i'm with him on this to some extent - don't think it looks to flattering on the mito

Also available on the 147, F/L 156 & F/L 147, it doesn't always look great in pics but does look good in the metal

It's not too bad.

It just looks, I dunno, a little too sensible for a MiTo?

That colour on your Grandad's Focus, sure.

I believe in providing facts other than inaccurate info, opinions or guesses especially in Tech threads :NUTTER: :HEADBANG:

A car's life or it's occupant's life could depend on it

A tech thread on a forum is just that , not a replacement for a technician and important though it may be (ahem to some) noone was ever killed by the colour of a car! Lol

I never suggested this was a Tech thread or that any info provided within could cause risk to Mito or life

I didn't think I'd have to explain that it wasn't either :NUTTER: :HEADBANG:
