Gear knob

I really want to get rid of the blingy gear knob on the Mito. There are several on Ebay for a Mito but they all say not suitable for lift reverse gear. Are all Mito's not lift reverse gear?
Why are they not suitable? I would have thought that the lift bit is separate to the knob?

first thing i did when i got my mito over two years ago was change the 'blingy' gear knob, got mine from a german company called alfisti.net, its made of billet aluminium and real leather and is a quality item, the difference between a lift up reverse gear knob and an ordinary one is that the lift up one has a recess cut into it to allow the locking collar to be raised, make sure you get the right one, also, try to avoid the 'official' alfa knob because its just the same as the original but with a different plastic badge in the centre

Haha yeah, it is just a different badge, but it looks good.

I'm wondering if I could do anything with the standard one. Does anyone have one that they have taken off that they no longer need that I could buy off them?

I do, but I'm planning on putting it back on when i sell the car, so I'm afraid it's not for sale. Sorry.

You could buy the one i have:

Alfa MiTo Gear Knob | Alfa Romeo Accessories

I would search around on price though as i got mine about £20 cheaper than that.

Mito 135 TCT Distinctive

Often hear people not liking the bling.
I'd prefer that pattern on the sides of the TCT shift which just has brushed aluminium discs.
Bling is the only thing missing, brushed aluminium far too Milennium for me. Rather go more 80s Lancia really.
Or the one Mitomatt posted - I like.
I got a couple of red TDK USB keys the other day. With a square of red insulating tape over the LED and the lid glued over that they look great flickering away.
