All it does is reduce pedal travel.
The throttle won't open any quicker (throttle opening is controlled by the ECU, not directly by the pedal).

Pointless.

That's what I was thinking reading it. Seems like your paying the guts of £200 to not have to press the pedal in quite as much

Which it really does do It's just a bit annoying to have to set 'D'
every time one starts the engine

Maybe Alfa will eventually offer a firmware update to remember 'D' mode

MiTo 1.3 JTD2

I collected my sweet 1.3 JTDM-2 last week. In conversation I was told that a firmware upgrade was in the pipeline. The DNA setting will remain where it was on a restart. Timeframe was not mentioned, but the word 'soon' was.
