Mine is status 35, etna QV, probably on the same boat! Get your dealer to prioritise it when it hits status 40, mine has promised to try this, if it works it turns 4 weeks into 2!
Ordered mine 17th December, when did you order yours?

Ordered ours about a week before you, it wasn't built but think I remember the spec being fixed so we couldn't make changes.
The wait seems to go on forever

Hi Mito1988
Don't know the status number - but have been informed that strikes in Italy are delaying all transport. I read that earlier in february turin was basically blockaded by lorry drivers, but that was a month back! that said, if italy is anything like spain (which in my experience it is), people will use general strikes as an excuse to do generally nothing - even if they aren't supposed to be the ones striking
ordered mine 20th december
fairly peed off - as don't think the dealer can do anything and its hardly their fault.
what does status 35 or 40 mean?
as far as im aware mines ready to be sent/ has been sent and is sat somewhere.
nice pics btw duck

The status codes are listed here... http://www.alfaowner.com/Forum/alfa-...-thingies.html (Mito Delivery Status Thingies)
Basically 35 is it's on the boat. Then 40 is it's arrived at the import centre.
The problem is when it gets to the country, it has to be throughly checked for any damage during transport etc. Then they just sit in the port (masses of them) until it's their turn to be shipped to the dealer. My dealer seems to think there's not even a particular order they do this. Then once at the dealer they need it for a few days to again check it, register & tax it, and also valet/lifeshine it etc.
Prioritising it basically means it gets from port to the dealers quicker.

Just had the call off my dealer, it's hit status 40 today & they've prioritised it.
He said company answer will be end of the month delivery, but he thinks it'll be a couple of weeks. Apparently Alfa need to push them all through to hit their quota's this month
Too excited now!

End of January one Monday it took me an hour and a half to go from the Airport to Mirafiori, there was a couple of trucker blockades no different to what previous fuel blockades in UK have been. You also need to remember FGA moving production to Serbia and workers being put on casa intergrazzione in Torino, doesn't help the feel good factor around the place.

Hi Towney,
It's coming out at £420 for the year, only £50 more than my 95bhp! So can't complain! Your QV is stunning, how much was your lowering all in?
I can afford the springs, but worried about the labour costs of fitting.
Also, do you know what warranty it will affect fitting them?
