Recall?

New Mito has to go in, 105 MA.

Something about burning too much oil and an engine remap?

Anyone know about this?

looking for a 147

What engine do you have?

I've heard of a recall on giuliettas with the 1.6 diesel that needs a new engine due to a piston ring fault.

I wasn't told new engine. I was told there was an oil burning issue and it would take a day to sort out injectors, etc.

IF it's a new engine I'll be rejecting it, it's only done 500 miles.

Well, it's not a new engine. It's simply an ECU reprogramme to sort out the injectors. No new parts, no new changes.

Takes a day or so.

It's back. Feels nicely fizzy. Not sure it's changed at all. Just feels faster than the 95 Veloce they loaned me.

Clean as well. But it was pretty clean when I gave it to them.

Hmm, appears faster. Definitely better MPG.

I wonder how it came to have "bad programming ECU" in the first place.

Yeah, it was smooth from start to finish. Courtesy car, kept informed. Car cleaned. Not that it needed too much cleaning cos it's lush.

thats strange 'cos apart from the 10bhp hike and lower emissions (though not by much) all the other stats (top speed, 0-62, mpg) are exactly the same for the 95bhp and the 105bhp m/a mitos

Hence "appears faster."

Besides, does depend where you look, wasn't the Veloce 10.8 and the MA now 10.7?

Parkers suggests these figures as well.
