Gardenia White

Any thoughts on this colour? Looks classy but is it Alfa Romeo? Only seen the colour swatch, can't find a Gardenia White car in the country yet.

Re: Gardenia White

Great I like solid whites, not too keen on the iridescents though.

mito ordered!!

Re: Gardenia White

I saw one this weekend at the alfa romeo dealership in northampton. It had a british number plate and must have been the test car.

It had the black headlight surrounds which made it look like a panda!!

Etna black or alfa red has to be the colour!!!!

White Mito's work well but when I saw the Etna black in the showroom, that was it for me.

The trouble is, not only are the roads going to be saturated with the Mito (me included maybe) but 80% of them are going to be Etna Black by the sounds of it. The new Alfa Romeo Clitoris every **** got one

Re: Gardenia White

Gardenia white isnt actually white though - its a light bronze/champagne colour
Attached some pics here - if your search the site theres plenty more in this colour - I really like this colour but dont think it particulaly suits the Mito - Though as wingy says if you want to be a touch different?

Indeed . Wanted to retain an air of exclusivity - but it's good for the brand. Remember, this won't sell like the Fiesta, and probably not even the Mini. I chose blue though to be a little different - changing from Etna Black, because of the fact it feels more special if you're one of few.

Re: Gardenia White

I saw a White one in Fulham,it's not bad but it makes the Mito look a bit like a poverty spec special.Much better in Red or Black.

^Biancospino^. I think it looks quite good. I think all the colours look pretty good tbh, can see why people would get them.

Re: Gardenia White

I do agree that most Mitos will end up being Etna Black which may take the appeal down a very slight notch, but it still looks darn lovely so I can live with that

Fair enough, we've all got our own opinions.
I loved it, but it didn't look that special, and only looks fantastic in intense sunlight - how much of that do we get in England? I also couldn't cope with the fact loads of swirlmarks would inevitably show up really easily, ruining the effect of the paintjob.

Only seen the blue in pictures yet, because they started making blue later than all the other colours - I chose tan leather before the exterior colour, because I wanted to get something a bit more interesing.
Biancospino is flat white - Gardenia is metallic.

Re: Gardenia White

Posted a few pics of our MITO in Gardenia White, it was a choice between the red or white? moved both next to each other and we went with the white mito. The lighter colours seem to show off the overall body shape more than the darker colours outside, but the etna black did look sooo good inside. At the end of the day its your own personal choice of colour, but after driving the mito for over 3 weeks it has been the best choice of cars ive made for years. ...

Re: Gardenia White

Ive ordered one in Biancospino White, was warned off the Gardinia white by the salesman. And yes I'm getting the black colour coding, panda or no panda, in the flesh it actually looks nice. I wasn't keen on the etna black, must have been because it wasnt sunny enough to show the colour properly. And the Gardinia is the metallic white, the Biancospino is the special paint, neither is flat. (Edited because i got it wrong first time, lol)

I chose the solid black because I generally prefer non-metallic colours. Beginning to regret not choosing the blue though.

Re: Gardenia White

Does this help? I found this on ebay italy a few months ago when I was trying to decide on colour. I'm guessing this is Gardenia White. Every car I have seen on here or in the metal so far has been Biancospino White.

Re: Gardenia White

The Etna is a great colour and pretty unique so not a huge surprise its as popular as it is. Personally though I think Ubizzle's getting the best colour combo of the blue with tan

Re: Gardenia White

I toyed with the Biancospino white when I was looking as it really looks good on the car. The etna black is stunning I agree but I am an old fashioned Alfista and it just had to be Alfa Red for me.

Each to their own I suppose.
