Cagiva made a 125cc motorbike called "Mito". Even uneducated pimply Yoofs managed to say the name right, so if your local Beemer-Boys deliberately pronounce it wrong, they're being a ****.

Of course, the Cagiva Mito!

I used to lust after one of those when I was a teenager.

They may even have more trouble copyrighting the name Mito. As it is not only used but it is a actually registered and therefore protected name by MV Agusta.

Why not call it the Biscione or is that copyrighted as well?

They still do. It's just had a revamp and they've somehow made the 2-stoke Euro4 compliant by using some electronic trickery.

The Junior is so late, I think the Alfa Myth is entirely appropriate.

Re: Alfa Romeo 'Junior'

Junior was a legendary rear wheel drive coupe with awesome performance and imho the most appropriate name for the new Junior would be "Sprint". It's more like the old Sprint (Alfasud) and less like the old Junior.

Re: Alfa Romeo 'Junior'

BTW, read on Autoblog that the Junior/Mito will be presented to (Italian?) dealers at the Balocco track on March 18th. It should be then available for purchase from September.

Biscione very nice name....however in Russian pronunciation of this word is a bit similar to "бешенный" wich means "mad" .....

Re: Alfa Romeo 'Junior'

i can't help but think that after all these constant mock, spy, and teaser shots, the actual car might be a disappointment. I hope not.
