Re: Alfa Romeo 'Junior'

Beginning to see a bit more consistency in the renderings - must be getting close to the finished article.

Let's hope so and that they don't postpone it to Paris in September.

Thanks sakis

I take it, it'll still be sold in Italy first, then Europe, then the rest of the world?

Re: Alfa Romeo 'Junior'

Looks fantastic and replying to a much earlier comment Northgate Alfa in Canterbury present all new cars under one of the red Alfa covers!!

Junior does looks good though and according to Northgate, alot of dealers are getting in LHD juniors at their own expense to get pre-orders!! I know I will be popping down with my wife's Golf and ordering based on those pictures! Though I would want a twin exhaust!!

Well, I'd rather they get it right than release something half-baked in a rush.

I agree with that sentiment - and maybe the Junior hasn't been in gestation that long. However, the 149 has been. Coupled together the failure to get one of these 2 cars out is IMHO poor to say the least. All I can say is that they'd better be VERY good.

Re: Alfa Romeo 'Junior'

Considering they pushed the 149 'out' to get the 139 Junior 'in' it all seems to be slowly or is that quickely becoming an "Italian' shemozzle

Excellent news Sakis.

So we'll see a concept in Geneva, then the real thing in Paris.

This might sound a bit off but imho they are a bit confused in Alfa and as a result all the news about 149 and Junior are just as confusing. I mean if you take a close look at the scoop pics they seem like variations of the same photoshop image

Re: Alfa Romeo 'Junior'

I think it's because the press is gagging to see these pics and they're doing their own renderings (often on the basis of no spyshots whatsoever).

Not sure if it's a good thing but there is a semi-official Alfa "Junior" site: Progetto955.it - Il Blog Non Ufficiale Dedicato All’Alfa Romeo Junior

Re: Alfa Romeo 'Junior'

TBH I find the way the 'information' is being 'dragged' out (for this as well as the 149) is, rather than being intriguing, a big turn off. These cars (especially the 149) are taking far to long to produce
