Here's DR's drive of the MiTo. Much like the review I read over at CAR, looks like "more equals less." All the electronics seem to be holding it back from being quite as good as it could be.

Aye...! The gizmo-gubbins just seems to add cost and something else to go wrong.

Alfa, chuck it out!

Leccy windows, air-con, speedo, rev-counter, oil temp, water temp & fuel gauges and an oil pressure warning light. Sorted!

Well - I find it odd that they all compare the 1.4 turbo to the Cooper S, since it is clearly aimed at being in direct competition with the 'normal' Mini. For the Cooper S there will be the GTA version...

But overall they seem to love it - "impossible not to fall for the MiTo" - and they are keen to match the GTA against the JCW.
