Just shown these pics to people at work and all bar the MX-5 owner reckon it looks too girly. I sort of agree but I suppose that's the market it's aiming for ala Fiat 500, Mini etc which without a doubt are two of the world girliest cars...maybe in black it may look more erm...manly!!!

Hope it does look better in the flesh - looks too front heavy in those pics, perhaps white just doesn't suit it.

Not sure about it in white, or with the black light surrounds or the multispokes.

In red with the 'horseshoe' alloys though it looks wicked. Looks like this will be one that needs speccing up to look its best, a bit like the 156.

Interesting to note the 4-bolt wheel hubs, since Alfa have tended to use 5-bolt patterns before. Cost saving perhaps? Not actually that interesting perhaps...?

The red looks good with the chrome, but is it me or does it seem to still ride too high. Is there too much space in those arches too?
I think it needs a little more presense that what it has, but then again I never like the new Fiat 500 until I saw it in the flesh....

Confirms what I thought from the first pics I saw. Looks great side on but pretty naff front and back. The red one isnt too bad but the white - oh dear, all it needs are whiskers and we have an Alfa mouse.

I showed photos to my ex-147 owning wife and Alfa-loving daughters - their response was "yuck" and "they have to be joking" respectively.

I am not sure I like it. Maybe my mind will change when I see one in the metal.

For some reason it just doesn't look right to me.

I cant get over those lights, they are awful. like a ford scorpio!

Cant help thinking it looks like someone very scarey just sneaked up and shouted BOO! at it ...

i'm drawn to the white one. i'm not sure why, but in white with those multi-spokes, it shouts small Lancia to me.

The Alfa grille is too big and the bumper too expansive and out of proportion...having said all that I wonder how much that expanse of plastic is dictated by the pedestrian collision survivability rules.

The back is OK and the side is good. The front I am hating, but you need to see them a few times in the flesh before reaching a conclusion. I'm not convinced, and the photoshop teaser shots looked a whole lot better.
