Does anyone know if the new Mito is gonna have a selespeed system or similar???

Haven't seen any information (both official and unofficial) about this, so I couldn't say. I wouldn't be surprised if they did, since they will go to the US again, which almost demands for such a system.

If it's a US oriented decision, they'd use a standard auto or keep it manual (more and more "entry level" cars in the US these days are sold as manual, at least that's what I noticed reading their auto mags)

Yes it will have! The system is called DDCT, with double clutch.

The DDCT Dual Dry Clutch Transmission consists of two transmissions in parallel, each with its own clutch. This makes it possible to select and engage a gear while the other transmission continues to transit drive via another gear. Gear shifts are accomplished by gradually switching between the two clutches, ensuring constant torque delivery and traction.

I raised the same question on another thread based on the reference to DDCT in this article:

Response from Chill was that it won't arrive until end of next year at earliest:
