You'll be one of the first to fit then.

GTV V6

I have only covered about 2 miles to my MOT and back and can't say I notice the notchy feel much now, its worked it's way in very well. For the price it's a great addition to the way the GTV feels to drive now.

I was wondering if anyone has fitted both of these kits (in conjunction) given that they have a different mode of action:
TS and JTS 5 speed short shift kit
https://www.short-shifters.com/produ...005/20-ts-16v/

If not, would their combined use lead to an overly short throw?

The one listed on 'short shifters' won't work on the GTV as the GTV is rod operated not cable operated ( 156 ).

The ebspares one is intended for the rod change 916.

There are three different kits
For 916 there is the 6 speed version (cables) this fits onto the gear selector on the gearbox.
The 916 5 speed version shown here TS and JTS 5 speed short shift kit
because this uses rods the modification is done by moving the pivot point at the gear lever end.
The other 5 speed version is for 147s, 156 etc that use cables and again fits to selector on the gearbox.

Indeed. It was the differentiation between the 2nd and 3rd kits that I was unsure about. All clear now, and I've just ordered the 916 5-speed kit. Thanks again for the insight and help.
