Spider Leaky Hood

Desire has overcome logic and I have just purchased a V6 Spider, on the drive back I had an intermittent leak from the top of the drivers side window. can anyone tell me if this is a common problem (maybe with a known solution) it was not constant and to be fair the rain was torrential! Also one of the back lights for the heater controls gave out - any idead how I get into it to replace? Any advice much appreciated

Re: Spider Leaky Hood

Common problem! you can try a little silicone grease that can sometimes work or you can realign the windows if they are not seating against the seals or going up to far/not far enough. If you do a thread search theres one about doing it yourself otherwise its about an hours labour if the door card has to come off. Easy job tho just a bit fiddly. Theres a thread about dash bulbs too! again easy to do!
