Engine oil cooler pipes replacements

Hi guys,

Looking to have the car pass its final MoT before I sell it maybe mid summer time.

The garage told me that the engine oil cooler pipes need replacing.

I had a look on ebay and found that I can only buy it with the radiator itself for about 250.

Do you guys know if it is possible to just get the pipe itself replaced or would I need to buy the whole unit? What sort of labour cost should I except to pay to have this installed?

It is often impossible to get the old pipes off without damaging the cooler itself which is probably past it's best anyway.

250 is a pretty good price and it is well worth doing. Most prospective buyers will be well aware of the problem and therefore will not beat you down on price if you have replaced the whole unit.

I was charged an hours labour when I had mine done.
