I'll bring this old thread to life.
I experienced the exact same sypmtoms this week. While driving around 100km/h the engine, speedometer, rev-meter and other dash-lights whent completely dead. I just rolled to the side and stopped the car and couldn't start again. We towed it back home again and luckily I found this thread.
However, it wasn't as easy to find the fuse that you mentioned, so I thought I would help by adding an image, showing how to find it.
The image is from a car with the steering wheel to the left (the right side!
To the left of the main fuse "box" there are a bunch of relays and some of them are mounted on a special metal frame to the left of everything else, and a bit "up" and partly inside the plastic dash-cover.
To make it easier to reach the fuse, first undo the hex/Allen screw that holds the metal frame up. It's inside ring number 1 in the image, and the screw holds the two empty holes together (connected by the dashed line in the image). When the screw is undone, it's possible to fold the metal frame down, for easier access, as shown in the image.
The fuse mentioned in this thread is the one in circle number 2. It's covered by a black cover or cap, so it's not visible until that black cap is removed.
Replace the fuse, and everything is working as normal again!
