I also got my car nice and cheap.
Got her off a neighbour who was having trouble selling it, I did some research into GTVs and knew it would need some work to get it up to scratch...
Paid a grand for the car ['98 2.0TS] and then spent - with the help of Roger at Peak Alfa- a small fortune on making her well again.
It was all the usual GTV grumbles...
New rear Subframe
Rear Powerflex bushings
Knackered brake pipe replaced
Split throttle body inlet pipe thingy replaced
All it needs now is the airbag light reseting and the swimming pool in the passenger footwell plugging [easy ones].
Oh, and the wipers need replacing... and the tracking is out...
