Re: Has your Alfa broken your heart?
Just got mine back from the garage, cambelt, variator, tensioners, balance belt, water pump and full service ..... no change out £600 but its good to know its all done, and running noticably better too.
Saw a head from a TS 156 cam belt stripped of teeth at 56,000k and prob running at 5000rpm at the time. I have never seen such bent valves, knackered lifters and cracked guides. A real mess and a big reminder to do the belts at 36k intervals!
I noticed from my Spider's history it didnt have its first belt change until 60k its now on its 3rd!
Any tea in the pot?
