Those pipes look well made. Where did you buy them?
Thank you.

Thats at the cat end, look at the other end where they fit the manifolds, they are two bolt there. I don't know why Alfa did it but CF2s are 2-bolt at the manifold and 3-bolt at the cat. CF3s are the other way around, 3-bolt at the manifold and 2-bolt at the mid cats.

Usual Alfa quirkiness then.

Ordered!

Right,mI have spoken to Jerry at Cybox and placed my order. He reckons 7-10 days delivery and a better price than quoted: 295 for pipes and 15 delivery. Total 310.
He said that he had a few emails from Alfaowner members in a folder but didnt say whe ther he had replied to them! I found him very helpful and he sounded pleased to get another order as there has been quite a lot of interest.
I'd suggest calling him rather than emailing. I have to check my flanges (Ooer missis!) to make sure they are the correct configuration for Cf3 (3 bolts on manifold end, 2 bolts on cat end) and send him a picture to confirm.

They are in another league of niceness, but 869 GBP before you add shipping, customs duty & VAT.

Mmm, they look handmade by elves! However, you could buy a "fixer upper" GTV for that money
Don't worry boys, just as soon as the long bendy package arrives, I'll post pictures and details. Then video when they're fitted too. I've been collecting shiny bits for the Spider over the winter - time to fit them all now.

Yes, theres a bit of the magpie in The average petrol head. Its my regular pattern: buy car, improve car, obsess over car, spend too much on car!
If I added up all the money I'd spent on cars since I was 17 it would probably buy a nice house!
Right then, confession over - back to the shiny bits ?

Might need to start a crowd funding project, or sell a 1 ticket to 1100 gtv owners and then draw a winning ticket.

Well here's a little something that arrived this morning! Its not actually shiny but still pretty cool.
A reduced diameter, retrimmed steering wheel with red stitching and a thickened rim - all the way from Carsdream in Poland. Great workmanship, even the boss has been covered in high quality leather.
Mmmmm smells good too

Other new and definitely shiny bits include a 20mm Ultra Racing rear Anti roll bar, monster bright LED headlight bulbs, new leather handbrake and gear lever boots with red stitching to match steering wheel and 15mm alloy hubcentic wheel spacers to push out the rear Teledials to fill the arches better.
I need to skive off work on a sunny day to fit it all!

Cheers, worked out at 158 at the Euro exchange rate at the time. Not bad really considering the amount of work in reducing the diameter and retrimming. UK quote was for more than twice that figure!
