Hi James could you do a quick pic of the clearence under car, with the car on the road. Like uncle's 'scary' photo lol. How are you finding the sound now? And day to day living with the clearence?
Right - here is the first "Casualty" story of these pipes!!
While pulling out of side road a week ago, my front end crashed into a large depression in the road which wasn't easy to spot. There was a huge grinding crash from under the car, swiftly followed by grinding from my teeth!
After this, there was lots of rattling against the underside of the car (as I was previously complaining about) when reversing and also on the overrun.
Having had this looked at today - the mount is broken and the rubber also trashed. This is hopefully now fixed (I pick the car up in 10 minutes) but watch yourselves out there guys, I thought I was being careful with my new "scary" pipework!
Now I have suspension renewed, I'll do another underneath photo with the car on the road.
