3.0 V6 misfiring on overrun

Hi Guys !

Thanks for your time for reading this.

I've been stuck on a problem lately as my GTV misfires under overrrun (at arround 2200 RPM and below )
Its more pronounced when it's cold..

My Car is 1997 PHASE 1 3.0 v6 24v ( with throttle cable )

I've got a lot fixed already, but I mighty be missing something, what I've done:
- Changed MAF
- Checked timing ( replaced whole cam belt)
- Changed Lambda (O2 Sensor)
- Checked spark plugs
- Replaced all inlet gaskets
- Checked for vacuum leaks ( replaced all bad hoses )

Could this be due to messing with the idle screw on the throttle body? The previous owner screwed it wide open so it wouldn't die because the MAF was faulty.
I have no clue what else this could be...
Do you guys have any clue? Please help this fellow out !

Thanks guys!

One more note, when its misfiring ( popping out of the exhaust, when I try to give it some gas, it will hesitate )

Have you re adjust the screw on the throttle body? if not engine ECU will not fully know what load that is put on
the engine, measure the resistance between pin 1 and 3 on throttle position sensor so you know that ECU do see a closed throttle when it is closed , ~1K Ohm -throttle closed, ~2.7K Ohm -throttle completely open.

Hey there!

Thanks for your answer! It seemed even when i closed it completely the car would misfire.. Or should it be at 1k ohm when idling? I will check my resistance in the weekend and will let you know! Do you have any other clues I could check?

Thanks very much!
