Please, can anyone share info on the aftermarket CUP kits?
Been dreaming about upgrading the look of my GTV 24v V6 3.0 1997 with the CUP front lower spoiler/bumper and lower side squirts... replica/aftermarket that is.
One thing I don't understand though: Are these replica kits a replacement of original parts/skirts/bumper or do they “bolt” on OVER original parts.
Can't find info on this anywhere and sellers on eBay announcing these parts, won't recieve questions by email.
Here is an example of a CUP kit:
Seller says you won't tell the difference and reviews are good, so they might be right
But the following puzzles me.
1. The CUP bumper is sold as only the lower lip/splitter, but the GTV bumper I've just removed from my car is one piece. It does look like two pieces on the front, but on the back it's is clear that the bumper is made at one single piece that do not come apart.
So is the CUP front bumper part just bolted/glued on the original lower part of the bumper?
2. Also, the side skirts normally include the rather wide doorstep part with the Alfa logo (behind door/inside car), but the CUP side skirts does not have this part, just the skirt outside the car.
How do the replica CUP skirt mate with the original skirt?
And if the go over existing skirts, how do you make sure, there is no gab where the CUP skirt ends and the logo doorpanel begins?

I'm confused, can anyone please tell me how this works?
