Goodbye my beloved!

After 2 and a half wonderful years I had to say goodbye to my beloved GTV TS today. Due to a move to Stockholm in 26 days it had to be done but it was a decision I had to make with my head. My heart wanted me to keep it and ship it over but my head told me how stupid an idea that really was.

It was the first car I have owned that I really got stuck in with the tools and right up until the last moment I spent a lot of time and money on with the most recent work being a roof, three quarter panel and bonnet respray only 2 months ago. Thankfully it seems that she has gone to a good home but I will always miss her.

I am considering trying to find another GTV in Stockholm but due to finances I will probably opt for a 156 TS or the like as they are quite a lot cheaper and more abundant. Either way it will more than likely be an Alfa!

But here is a cheers to my beautiful rosso red GTV! May you be treated well and taken care of in your new home

The GTV should always come first, even before the kids. Hang your head in shame young man.

Sounds like you had memorable times with the gtv, things change though, but glad to hear you are sticking to the Alfa brand when you get out there. Good luck.
