Shall I replace plugs & transmission oil?

My car is having her annual service now. I believe she's on her original spark plugs and transmission oil. She's a 52 plate and has just done 40k miles. Shall I change the spark plugs and transmission oil? Is the spark plugs a huge job? Please advise and thanks in advance.

spark plug change is dead easy on the 2L although can be expensive especially if you bought them from a dealer, not sure about the V6.

i doubt that many cars get a change of transmission oil at 40k, still it won't do any harm, after all it's been in there for 5 years.

Are you talking about the manual or auto tranny? Is this a DIY job? For both the oil and spark plugs? What is the best source for these plugs? what is the spec. for both plugs and transmission oil? By the way, I have a manual 2000 ts. Thanks.

Did our 2.0 litre, both jobs, a doddle on that model. Although thinking about it, replaced one crappy plug, just cleaned the rest, supposed to last 60,000 k. or something. Think someone said the rear bank on a V6 are a tadge awkward?:
