Raspy sound when cold, quieter when warm
I'm the proud owner of a 3.0 V6 24v alfa gtv.
I've been working alot on it, to get it in perfect shape, took out the complete engine and got new belts + clutch
replaced my MAF and got a fully new exhaust with new a new converter ( the one was burnt away because of the broken MAF... )
Also checked all hoses & pipes and disconnected the EGR and plugged it..
Now the engine is running sooooooo smooth with so much torque, I just love it.
But one thing is bothering me,
when cold the engine sounds raspy/throaty under 75->100% throttle from 2800 RPM >
When warm, the sound is less, but still there..
it really sounds like something from metal, but no really grinding or anything.. just raspy/throaty
Is this normal, and shouldn't I worry too much,
or can there be another problem? ( too little fuel, too much, sparkplugs? )
