Re: How to tension the hood???
I don't know how to tension the hood, but I Had the same problem on a different make a few years back. I booked an appointment with someone who specializes in replacing hoods only. They had the car for a few hours just to tension the existing hood - when I got the car back -the hood was just like new.
Personally I think the hood mechanism is quite complex and need to be maintained by professionals. Think I paid £50-£100. Would have been happy to give you their name, but someone took over their workshop!
Search the web – and you will find someone who can do it for you. Can anyone recommend someone?
