Would fitting an exhaust damage brakes?
Appreciate some advice.
Took my 2001 GTV 2.0 TS in to local garage for them to fit a new centre box. When I picked up the car I noticed that the brake pedal was immediately spongy but sometimes would revert back to normal, other times would go straight to floor.
Went back to the garage where they had a quick look around the car and didn't notice any leaks. Got home after driving very gingerly when brake pedal went straight to the floor (no resistance at all) and she proceeded to dump a whole heap of brake fluid on my driveway-coincidentally the leak is coming from above the centre/back box area as both, esp the back box is covered with fluid.
Would fitting a centre exhaust box potentially damage any brake lines, pipes etc?
