Also there out of warranty. So I may as well just get new shocks. Thats just a waste of money. Koni shocks that only lasted 15,000 Km (8,000) miles. Totally unacceptable Koni !!
My options now are to buy the same set of Konis again or maybe Bilstein.
What are peoples thoughts on front Konis and rear Bilsteins together ? or Where can I get a set of front and rear Bilsteins second hand ??! (Always wanted to get Bilsteins over Konis)
I'll try again, hopefully this post won't be removed!?
You're Konis are over 4 years old so hardly 'new'.
I've posted many times that Konis don't last, which is why I've junked quite a few pairs...of rears. I've also got a lovely 'newish' looking pair of rear Bilsteins which were/are shot.
Save your money, fit KYBs, they match nicely with Koni Sport fronts. Others may confirm this?
Anyway yet again I've tried to advise you, as I, & others, have for years on this forum, whether you take it this time is your choice but I post advice not just for the person/you who ask these questions but for the many people who read these threads, many of them who don't comment just seek advise.
It's up to them if they take my advice, & the advice of others, or take yours...which you've been having the same or similar suspension problems now for over 4 years. You, & your brilliant mechanic, don't seem to be able to cure them.
I, sometimes with the help of a couple of good mechanics, can sort any suspension noises etc within 1 or 2 attempts....it's normally quite simple.
I hope I haven't offended anyone with this post, just trying to give some sane advice.
