Re: GTV v6 throttle response
I don't know about after your foot is off the pedal, but I've many a time got the impression that more power is available at a throttle opening which is less than full. i'e in lifting off you go through a slight increase in power just before overrun. This effect has been apparent on all sorts of cars both injection and carburettor, especially older and those with poor mixture set up.
another weird thing is that our 147 will 'pink' quite noticeably in hot weather (is that cos the windoes down?) at very light throttle and shut up as you gun it.
PS the most alarming expereince I've had of this sort was when running a Bentley Turbo without the dunp valve connected. Pretty shocked how far it would go on full boost after lifting foot off!
Doesn't say that in the manual
