Gtv Help Needed

Hi ya,
One day my gtv is fine and the other day i started it up and it was idling at 2000 revs and it wont drop below that. the RAC guy came out to check it and cleaned all induction pipes etc but it still does it. Any ideas whoich sensor it will be etc?

Re: Gtv Help Needed

Could be the MAF (Air flow meter). That seems to be mentioned lots on here with problems like that. I think mine needs looking at too as it sometimes revs by itself when I'm idling.

Re: Gtv Help Needed

well the obvious item that controls tick over is the idle actuator, hopefully the RAC guy cleaned that out properly?

Re: Gtv Help Needed

This seems to have been asked dozens of times on here. Pull off airflow meter plug and see if it gets better/worse.
