"Wheels get scuffed and marked in normal use so you would have to be something of a fanatic to want powder coated wheels on a gtv"
I dont agree with that. They get scuffed and marked when you drive into or over curbs. Normal use should not damage your wheels at all. I try and keep my alloys in good nick, I just find it makes the car look a bit tatty when the wheels are chewed up. Same principle with car ownership generally. I like to keep the car in good cosmetic condition just really so I can enjoy the car a bit more. Yer theres a line when you get in to that OCD bracket, and thats not a good place to be either. But somewhere in between where you keep the car tidy, damage free and polished.
And I dont think you would want to be a fanatic to want powder coated wheels. Its just the best and easiest way to spray an alloy and it provides by far the strongest finish and provides a good seal for the tyre.
