Re: Sandy gritty sound behind steering?
Great. that's nice to hear. Sometimes things ain't so bad, positive thinking sometimes helps when owning an Alfa!! Beware the witless in charge of the diagnostics, this self checking these systems do is only half hearted and can lead to bum-steers. The 'brain' reads a bad signal and prints a message pointing to 'suchandsuch sensor' but what it really means is that it doesn't understand the signal reaching it on the wires that go to suchansuch. It doesn't know if bad connections have disrupted the signal and that the sensor is in fact OK. The old wiing gremlins. Yuo can end up buying sensors and the workshop saying the probelms gone away but it will reoccurr later when the bad connection reassert itself. Frustratin!!
Doesn't say that in the manual
