I'm reluctantly selling my Spider, running out of space unfortunately.
2002 3.0 V6 Spider in the rare Zoe yellow (1 of 10 offically imported to UK).
72500 miles, 3 previous owners.
Stunning condition, vehicle is dry stored over the winter months so has not suffered due to weathering. Bodywork in fabulous condition, with new front and rear alfa badges. Interior, black leather is unmarked, with drivers bolster showing little to no sign of wear. The leather has been treated regularly and is supple and soft as a result.
Air con serviced last summer by Florys.
Engine bay detailing carried out last year by specialist.
Fitted with pipercros air filter/Autolusso intake pipe, and autodelta exhaust tailpipe. I fitted a Weichers strut brace last autumn too, having had it professionally custom painted in Zoe yellow.
Clutch replaced last summer, followed by a full cambelt & water pump replacement/service in autumn last year. Lots of history and receipts.
Bushes and suspension all feel tight, discs and pads have very little wear.
Recent tyres on the original spider alloys, again in fabulous condition.
Electric hood in good working order, no leaks.
Excellent opportunity to own a V6 Spider in this condition
If you've not sold it yet, a few of us a going convoy to Cars in the Park at Newby Hall on Sunday. You should bring it along and stick a for sale sign in it. You'll sell it if someone happens to want a 916 V6 Spider!
Might have a run down to Newby, we will see what the weather does.
Price : well show me a sorted V6 spider that to buy and put right to the required standard will cost less than £7k
you could argue you could pay £4-5k for a V6 spider, higher mileage, probably needing belt service, suspension overhaul, hood potentially, and paintwork renovation. Unfortunately that doesnt come cheap.
A well sorted twin spark spider could command £3-4k, and theres loads of them around. Show me how many V6 spiders there are for sale?
At the end of the day, I am in no rush to sell so can afford to wait the 10 years to get the price
I've been selling them for this type of price for quite a time, so it's not finally, but they do have to be good examples...well prepped etc etc. Zoe Yellow helps.
I said £15k in 10yrs because if I'd said anymore then certain people would've thrown their toys out of their prams.
Well I knew you were getting decent prices, but you offer something that private sellers don't.
I remember when I first started being interested in these about 2 years ago thinking who's this mad man in the Uk asking bonker prices, he mustn't want to sell any.
Its funny though, decent 916 spiders in the UK are making more than there successor here in Ireland. A brera spider with 60 on it went for around the 5k euro mark. was a 2.2 though, the v6 would have gone for less
